13: Learn About The Racial Wealth Gap

The Sugar Daddy Podcast Season 2 Episode 13

Happy Black History Month!
The wealth gap between Black and white Americans has been persistent and extreme. The accumulated effects of four centuries of institutional and systemic racism bears major responsibility for disparities in income, health, education, and opportunity which sadly continue to present day.

Employment, housing (hello redlining), and educational discrimination across the country virtually ensured that Black Americans in the South would not be able to accumulate wealth.

Tune in as Brandon and Jessica dive deeper into the history of the racial wealth gap.
